Terms
These terms cover the browser extensions Headwise and Framekeep and the paid add-on Headwise Pro, all published by Quiet Tools. By installing an extension or buying Headwise Pro, you agree to them.
The extensions
Headwise and Framekeep are free to install and use, for personal and for commercial work.
No warranty
The extensions and Headwise Pro are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. They may contain bugs, and a browser update may change how they work.
To the extent the law allows, Quiet Tools is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using them, including lost data or lost recordings. Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. If Quiet Tools is liable despite this, its liability is limited to the amount you paid for Headwise Pro.
Your Headwise Pro licence
- Headwise Pro is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription.
- The licence is personal. It is for you, in the browsers you use yourself. Do not share, publish or resell your licence key.
- The licence includes updates to Headwise Pro.
- A licence key that is refunded, charged back or shared publicly can be revoked.
Buying Headwise Pro
Polar.sh (Polar Software, Inc.) is the reseller and merchant of record for Headwise Pro. You buy Headwise Pro from Polar, which takes the payment, handles VAT and sales tax, and issues the invoice and the licence key. Polar's buyer terms apply to the purchase. These terms apply to your use of Headwise Pro.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, with no questions asked. See the refund policy.
Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under consumer law that a contract cannot take away.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
